Synopsis: CeCe has a scar running across her face. It gets her stares and finger points anywhere she goes. The only people to not do this are he close friends and Emmett, the new kid at school.  He doesn’t seem to notice or care she has a scare. She really is appreciative of him for it. Then there’s Bynn, another new student who is super hot and on the volleyball team with CeCe. Bynn really seems to like Emmett but she gets super shy around him. So, she asks CeCe to talk over the conversation when they email. Emmett starts to fall for this person sending the emails. He didn’t know CeCe was the one writing the beautiful messages.  He thought that maybe Brynn was to afraid to say these things out loud, he was writing a song for Brynn and CeCe. He just didn’t know it at the time he was only in love with one of them.

Thoughts:  I thought this was a great story. It shows that you don’t need to have beauty to have everything. It really is what’s on the inside that matters. There is a great representation of this used throughout and I loved that part of it. The emails that CeCe sent were so beautifully written. I enjoyed the dual perspectives but overall it wasn’t my favorite.
