Daffodil – A book about unrequited love
I honestly don’t have an answer for this one. I know this is pathetic. Usually all of my books have their love reciprocated.
Fox Glove – A book you pretended to like
I really didn’t care for Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. I thought it was okay, but I didn’t get that wow factor everyone else did. It felt like any other young adult romance to me. It was very predicable. I am happy I read it, and I am glad my friends made me read it.
Lilac – A book about first love
I am going to have to say Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally. I love his story I have read it many, many, many times since the first time I read it in 2015. It is a very empowering story about a GIRL being the quarterback on the Hundred Oaks football team. The romance between her and her best friend Sam Henry makes my heart very happy. I get so giddy, it’s unrealistic. I would recommend you read this now!
Hyacinth – A book with a sad ending
Come back to me by Mila Gray. I will not spoil the ending but be prepared to cry.
Peony – A book that made you embarrassed
I have to go with Firsts by Laurie Elizabeth Fylnn. The whole book made me embarrassed but I am so glad I read it.
Tulip – A book with the most beautiful declaration of love
I absolutely love the way Oz declared his love for Emily in Nowhere but Here by Katie Mcgarry. This is by far my favorite book ever! Every little thing about it makes me fall in love with it over and over again. If you’re going to read any book next make it his one, also check out Katie’s site and her other books here.
Crocus – A book that made you laugh out loud
I have to admit I usually laugh throughout most books. I have to say that Simone vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli made me laugh the most. I was cracking up over it, I remember my friend was like what was so funny and I show her and she burst out laughing too.
Pansy – A book that made you think about an important or heavy subject
Willow by Julia Hoban. This book is about teenage girl, Willow, who recently lost her parents and goes and lives with her brother and his family. She doesn’t feel wanted, so she cuts herself. This is such a wonderful and life changing story. I read it last summer and I still think of it today.
Daisy – A book about a strong female friendship
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. Rose would do pretty much everything for Lissa. Their connection and friendship is one every girl should have.
I tag whoever wants to do this tag DO IT.
Thanks for reading, Emily
