Over Hyped Books – Unpopular Opinions

I have several unpopular opinions for the books people over hype I know we as a book community usually only talk about the books we love so here’s a change of pace. Let us get right into it. **Disclaimer just because I think it’s over hyped and I didn’t like it, it doesn’t mean your opinion is wrong.**

The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins

I really don’t see the appeal and I could have lived without reading it. I only read the first one and won’t probably ever finish it and I don’t think I’ll ever watch the movies.

Everything, Everything – Nicola Yoon

I read it and I thought it was okay. I was left empty like there could’ve been more to the story. All of my friends told me to read it and I did, I just wasn’t the biggest fan.

Anything by John Green

I can’t stand his books I’ve read most of them and I didn’t enjoy them.

Illuminae – Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

I honestly hated this book.

All the Bright Places – Jennifer Niven

I didn’t like the representation of mental illness. I just didn’t like it in general either.

Uglies – Scott Westerfeld

This was just an empty series for me. I felt like it just dragged on.

The Maze Runner – James Dashner

This series could have stopped with the first book and made it a 500-page book instead of all the excess amount already made.

Matched – Ally Condie

I thought this trilogy was okay, it a chance to be great but it missed the mark. It was just so boring.

Fallen – Lauren Kate

There are no words to describe this, it was just so blahhhh.

What Happened to Goodbye – Sarah Dessen

This book sucked. It was very bland and boring.

Thanks for stopping by, Emily.
