Synopsis: Kaydee Wagner is sweet enough to drop her life and move in with her grandfather, while her dad is serving in the military. While living there, she has been doing repairs around the house. For some projects she needs little extra help, thankfully there is an army ranger next door. Leo Reed has been coming down to visit his grandmother while his mom is away. These two start to work together and tile Kaydees’ bathroom, as they work things get steamy in the shower. Everything was going well until Leo’s past comes into play and makes him feel unworthy of Kaydee, as his past has caught up with him. Will Kaydee be able to survive this “toxic” man. . . And a baby?

Thoughts: This was such a great read! I love a good military romance. The way that Kaydee is an anchor for Leo, in such a short amount of time shows just how strong of a couple they are. This is an excellent story about friendships, relationships, and facing your demons. I would highly recommend you pick this up for the summer!
